Default First Irish language pre-school facility for Cookstown

COOKSTOWN welcomes its first Irish medium pre-school provider to the town this September.

The Naíscoil will provide a bilingual start for pre-school children from three years of age.

The arrival of Irish-medium education will follow a well-established and fast growing trend across many areas throughout the North.

Fantastic growth has been witnessed in immersion education, especially in Tyrone, over the past ten years.

An overwhelming demand for Irish medium education in the Cookstown area has led to the setting up of a strong and committed team with expertise in the sector. The Naíscoil has received support from Comhairle na Gaelscolaíochta along with other local immersion schools. A site has been located and funding has been secured.

Bilingual education provides many advantages for children. Bilingual learners are better learners, not just of language but in all areas, including English and Maths. It has been widely recognised that children who learn a second language at a young age often have an increased ability to learn a third or fourth language later.

Free Places are still available for this year - to find out more about this Naíscoil, please contact Niall on 028 8675 1743 or 0773 900 6398. Information packs are also available upon request. Contact Aodan at Comhairle na Gaelscolaíochta on 028 90 321 475.

Default Republicans hold a protest outside the British Embassy in Dublin

Between 12.45pm and about 2.30pm yesterday, Saturday 28 June 2008 , approximately 50 Irish republican protestors held a noisy , colourful and peaceful picket outside the British Embassy in Merrion Road , Dublin . The protest was held to highlight the fact that Republican prisoners are again being criminalised by the British Government and in support of the five demands made by the prisoners themselves -

1) Right to free association
2) End to controlled movement
3) Right to full-time education
4) Separate visiting facility
5) Right to organise their own landings.

The protestors were closely monitored by four Special Branch men and seven uniformed Garda , as well as having at least four CCTV cameras , controlled by Embassy staff within the building , trained on their every move. Leaflets were handed out to members of the public in the vicinity and countless car drivers sounded their horns in support as they slowed down to take a look.

Leaflets distributed by republican protestors outside the British Embassy in Dublin.

A ‘Union Jack’/Butchers Apron flag was burned by the republicans in the closing minutes of the protest , an act which drew a sustained round of applause from the protestors and passers-by , and illicted much sounding of car-horns from the many vehicles in the area at the time! A ‘running commentary’ was sustained by Josephine Hayden for almost the entire length of the protest , and main speeches were delivered by Des Dalton and Richard Walsh. The organisers were more than pleased with how the event went , and those present - with the notable exception of the State security teams - were thanked for their presence. A full report and more pics will be published in the July 2008 issue of Saoirse, which will be available on Wednesday the 2nd of that month.

Default Goodbye Europe, Dia Dhuit Éirinn

Irish Voters Reject Foreign Rule

Irish nationalists can rejoice in the successful defeat of the Lisbon Treaty – a treaty built upon the evils of bad law and the destruction of natural creation.

While Irish people rejected Lisbon on a variety of issues, the underlying force was that the EU stood against all the natural instincts of mankind, and the Irish people saw through its lies, its two-faced politicians, its attacks upon Ireland , the Irish family and our social traditions.

It was never a question of one political force against another, but of honesty fighting evil, of justice succeeding against the crimes of the unjust.

Europe stood for Abortion, the unholy killing of innocent children, in cruel sadistic death-centres. Europe kills 2.2 million innocent children every year. Ireland stands against that.

Europe stood for forced-immigration, the displacement of indigenous races, the destruction of nation/states, the dilution of traditions. Europe stood against diversity, individuality and the respect of cultural autonomy, things Ireland have always held sacred and pure in creation.

Europe stood for the erosion of family life, industrial slavery, state control, stealth taxes, pollution, dictatorship, and an endless list of political crimes that go against all the natural laws of Ireland ’s long generous history.

Ireland stood defiantly against Europe on every issue, reaffirming our commitment to respect the creation of life, especially the rich social customs we have inherited from our ancestors.

So yes, Ireland can rejoice in its victory, we can celebrate our triumph over the Masonic wrath of Europe and the tyranny that is mirrored in its cancers across every land it has attempted to control. Europe has failed because it political objectives have an inherent natural weakness –they are wrong.

OUR FUTURE

Ireland must now seize upon this moment and build upon its success to protect our identity, our children’s futures, and our islands sovereignty in the coming years.

Within our triumph we must learn from our own campaign’s downfalls as well as the mistakes of the enemy. For Lisbon was a single battle in a long war, and while Lisbon is defeated, the evils of the EU still infect our island and the very fabric of Irish society.

The European Union is still planning to forge ahead with its project of cultural annihilation, the breakdown of religious beliefs, and the division of family unity. Ireland must reaffirm its continued stance against Europe and those who stood against Ireland and our internal life-force.

We must stand against Europe, not just because they want to enforce Abortion and Euthanasia upon Ireland , but because Europe stands for Abortion and Euthanasia. We cannot align ourselves to the killing of children in any form, for whatever unholy purpose. What nation could justly stand as a nation if its taxes contribute to the killing of 2.2 million children annually? Certainly not Ireland and certainly not the terrorism that is manifested in the EU entity!

Despite the lies emanating from the politicians, a huge number of Irish people have now openly declared they wish to leave the EU, because of its negative social and economic affects upon Ireland.

At least 34% of Irish No voters specifically said they wished to preserve Ireland’s identity, sovereignty, and protect our social traditions independent of the EU super-state. We must work to turn that 34% into 94%, and we need to expose the lies and misinformation espoused by the Yes side.

We need to cause division within those who are ruthlessly involved in the attack upon Ireland . We need to expose the domestic traitors who are betraying our people, and we must remove them from their positions of influence.

We must take a strong stand against all those who believe Ireland is a material product that can be bargained and sold, against the interest of the Irish people – for as Pádraic mac Piarais said ‘Ireland is a Spiritual entity’.

NATIONAL IDENTITY

In part of our literature against the Lisbon Treaty we said we were opposed to a Godless Society, for if natural creation is denied then we deny our very existence and the existence of the environment in which we live.

If one asks what is the root cause of pollution? What has brought about the extinction of animals, birds, flowers and the whole eco-system, which is now under threat – then the answer lies in those who have rejected God and the riches of natural creation.

Our ideology has always been that we must co-exist in harmony with nature, the very Truth of God’s creation – not a case where we exploit nature or nature’s life forces for unnatural financial gain, to our own detriment.

Europe has always been about big business, profit, and the ruthless exploitation of the Earth’s resources to finance its destructive agenda. It has never been about sustainability or self-sufficiency, and its policies have always led to impoverishment rather than enrichment. Just look at Irish fisheries for a single example.

It is important that we expose this lie of Europe, for its policies on the environment are exactly its policy on human life – Abortion, Euthanasia, Genetic-hybrids and unnatural interference. All things we spiritually oppose.

As I have said, we must celebrate over victory against Europe and grow in the confidence that we have held back the evils of Europe temporarily. But more importantly we must use our victory to win the war against Europe and stop its policies of death and internal destruction.

This is a new and momentous era for Irish nationalism and an era where we must triumph for the glory of our race and the bloodlines of future offspring. The maxim ‘life springs from death and from the graves of patriot men and women springs living nations’ is what we must glory in for Ireland ’s future. A land One, Gaelic and Free! Éirinn go Brách.

Default Anti-Lisbon group to protest Sarkozy visit

An umbrella group of anti-Lisbon campaigners say they will stage a protest in Dublin next month during a visit to Ireland by French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

The group known as the Campaign Against the EU Constitution (CAEUC) represents the left-wing organisations opposed to the Lisbon Treaty including Sinn Féin, People Before Profit and the Socialist Party.

It is concerned that the French presidency of the European Union will press ahead with the ratification of the treaty despite its rejection in Ireland.

The group says that the French President needs to respect the rejection of the now defunct EU constitution in France and the Netherlands, as well as the Irish rejection of the Lisbon Treaty.

Default Flawed views on Gaelic

Councillor Samuel Cole's understanding of the Irish language and its community is flawed and outdated (Write Back, June 23).

Around 1.8 million people in Ireland claim some capability in Irish Gaelic, with the number of fluent speakers using Irish as their main means of communication estimated at 100,000, a fifth of whom live in Northern Ireland.

The language community is significant and deserves adequate services from state broadcasters.

Gaelic speakers also come from a wide range of backgrounds in our society. The same can be said for speakers of the Ulster Scots dialect, a fact obviously imponderable to cllr Cole, who equates Ulster Scots with unionist culture. This link illustrates that the promotion of Scots in Ulster by the DUP is simply a cynical, prejudiced response to the growth of the Irish Gaelic-speaking population. The sooner the perceptions of politicians reflect real language communities on the ground the better.

Default Immigration concern helped to boost No vote

Sunday Business Post 22/06/08 - http://www.sbpost.ie/post/pages/p/st...891-qqqx=1.asp

A fear of foreign workers taking jobs and driving down wage rates was an unspoken issue behind the Lisbon No vote.

Immigration may not have raised its controversial head in the public debate leading up to the Lisbon Treaty referendum [see Censorship of ICP], but it was certainly on the radar of politicians on the doorsteps.

Once the ballot boxes were opened, the issue of migrant workers became ‘the elephant in the room’ that few politicians had wished to confront before the referendum.

‘‘It was definitely there, but nobody really wanted to talk about it,” conceded Fine Gael deputy Leo Varadkar. ‘‘A lot of left-wing campaigns stirred the immigration pot, some deliberately and some unwittingly,” he said.

Chris Andrews, Fianna Fail TD for Dublin South East, said politicians were aware of immigration concerns but were reluctant to open a Pandora’s box. ‘‘It has been a festering issue, but you’re not supposed to scratch a sore,” he said.

You bet it's a "festering issue" and it's been one for awhile now in Ireland; that "pandora's box" Andrews is afraid to open is the dissolution of the enforced Peace Treaty placed on Ireland by Britain's Blair and America's Bush.

Britian has used the peace to fill up Ireland with all sorts of crap immigrants; from everywhere too. But, it was being done before as well. And, Adams and McGuinness, those damned communist liberals didn't do much to help either. They both should be found bum up on the banks of The Shannon for what they've helped to bring about.

I was pleased to read that the Irish still have enough common sense to vote No to the Lisbon Treaty.

Default Irish people log on in greater numbers

By Niamh Hennessy

THE number of Irish people who are online is expected to outnumber those who are not by the end of the year.

Figures released by internet behaviour analysts, comScore showed 49% of the total Irish population, aged over 15, are online, with around 1.6 million people accessing the internet last month alone.

Social networking is proving extremely popular in Ireland with around two thirds of the Irish online population accessing at least one social networking site in May.

British-based site, Bebo is the most popular and, at 44%, reaches a higher percentage of the total online population in Ireland than in any other country.

ComScore analyst Jamie Gavin said: “The Irish market is coming up to an important tipping point where the number of people who are online in the country will soon outnumber those who are not, and with the current rate of growth in online visitation we would expect to see this happen later on this year.”

Mr Gavin said Bebo is more popular amongst Irish social networkers than US sites like Facebook and MySpace.

“With Facebook’s rapid growth around the world over the past year, it will be interesting to see how this trend develops over the next 12 months,” he said.

The research shows that Google sites are the most popular pages among Irish internet users.

These sites, which include YouTube and Gmail, had 1.2m Irish visitors last month.

This was followed by 1m logging onto Microsoft sites, such as hotmail and msn messenger.

Other popular sites include yahoo (782,000), Bebo (707,000) and eBay (529,000).

Ryanair was the most popular airline with 266,000 people logging on last month.

AIB was the most popular banking site with 226,000.

Default Heaney boosts Hill of Tara campaign

Nobel prize winning poet Seamus Heaney has joined Hollywood actress Charlize Theron and artist Louis le Brocquy in the campaign against the M3 motorway.

The writer has donated a number of rare, signed works for sale at an auction which will also see a unique drawing of the Oscar winning actress sold off. Money raised will pay for experts to travel to a Unesco summit in Canada next month as they lobby the body to discuss the M3 near the archaeologically-rich Hill of Tara.

Vincent Salafia, head of the TaraWatch group, said Heaney wrote to him last week offering the work for auction. "We are honoured and inspired by Mr Heaney's patronage," Mr Salafia said, adding: "With Heaney and le Brocquy on board, and Aosdana supporting, we see this as the entire Irish arts community rowing in behind us."

Thumbs down Belfast Irish-medium school to close

02 July 2008

The end of this school year will see the closure of an Irish-medium school in Belfast, it has been announced.

Opened just five years ago, Gaelscoil an Damba will close on August 31st 2008 due to falling pupil numbers.

Education minister Caitriona Ruane yesterday approved the shutting of the school, a decision that comes just weeks after it was confirmed that integrated school Armagh College will also be closing due to pupil deficits.

There are currently just 29 pupils at the school, all of whom will be re-allocated to other Irish-medium schools in the area.

"The school has taken the decision to close with the best educational interests of the children in mind and has worked carefully and sensitively to manage the closure and transfer of children," stated Ms Ruane.

Last month she came under fire from chairman of the Northern Ireland education committee Sammy Wilson, who criticised her for approving the opening of a new Irish-language school in Londonderry, while other schools were struggling to fill places.

I read this article yesterday, and am glad that you have posted it here.

For the longest time the teaching of Gael, was outlawed, and the speaking of Gael in public was made to seem a "suspicious" act - with exceptions made only to those who relegated the use to the native Irish tongue within the home. It was pretty recent that the ban against teaching Gael in North Irish schools was lifted, and that was accomplished by several groups in Scotland.

What better way to destroy a group of folks in the long run by punishing those who insist upon retaining their native language and removing it from the schools - for their children will forget their native language, and along with that, their own history. It's a part of the ongong push to ruin Ireland by turning it into a version of Britain and America's "melting pot" society.

Not a problem EireannGoddess.

Anglicization has really tarnished Irish culture. I would say most people of Irish descent do not have their original Gaelic names due to the Rothschild UK occupiers.

Since most of my Irish roots hail from County Donegal, I am going to try and find some linguistic materials for the Ulster dialect.

Default Belfast Lord Mayor commemorates the death of Irish fallen at the Battle of the Somme

THE SINN Féin Lord Mayor of Belfast laid a laurel wreath yesterday at the war memorial of the Belfast City Hall, to remember the unionists and nationalists soldiers who fall at the Battle of the Somme in 1916.

Tom Hartley, accompanied by some of his councillors, observed a short silence at the cenotaph, in a separate ceremony held at 9am.

Two hours later the official ceremony took place with the arrival of the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Irish Regiment followed by representatives of the DUP, the Orange Order, and war veterans who placed the poppy wreaths at the memorial.

Mr Hartley, the second Sinn Féin mayor to commemorate the deaths of soldiers from the 16th (Irish) division, said he understood that many from the nationalist tradition have felt “alienated” from the commemoration because of the British symbolism involved.

“But Irish soldiers from Belfast were engaged in the British Ulster Division and it is important that the nationalist community is able to remember and engage with this,” he added.

DUP Environment Minister Sammy Wilson deplored the fact that the sacrifice of these soldiers had been ignored and added he was happy that the Battle of the Somme was now seen as part of both communities’ shared history.

“The sacrifice was ignored not only in Northern Ireland but also with the Irish Government. Here we have focused on the 36th (unionist) division but in Ireland they didn’t want to acknowledge the 16th division,” he added.

The battle of the Somme that raged from July 1st 1916 until November 1916 saw the deaths of 10,000 soldiers from the Ulster and Irish divisions.

Nearly half of them – 45 per cent – were from the 16th (Irish) Division. They had joined the battle in September 1916 to support the 36th (Ulster) Division.

Default Get it right, ta

Thursday July 03 2008

The Lisbon Referendum can be challenged and made invalid due to the meaningless use of the Irish language, supposedly the first official language of this state.
The word 'ta' does not mean 'yes', as every schoolchild knows. Ta means there is or there are. And 'nil' does not mean 'no', it means there is not or there are not.

That politicians and members of this Government cannot even use two words of Irish correctly, is astounding.

Default Richie to promote the Irish language

Wednesday July 02 2008

COUNTY WEXFORD has its first Irish language development officer.Richie Ó hEadhra (26) has been appointed to the post with the voluntary group Na Macallaí' in County Wexford after they recently received funding from Forás na Gaeilge.

Richie Ó hEadhra (26) has been appointed to the post with the voluntary group Na Macallaí' in County Wexford after they recently received funding from Forás na Gaeilge.

Mr. Ó hEadhra, who is a native of An Cheathrœ Rua in the Galway Gaeltacht is also TG4's anchor for their live soccer coverage and can be seen regularly on the Irish language channel.

Mr. Ó hEadhra said he plans to encourage people to make an effort to use their cœpla focal' and hopes to organise events where Wexford people can enjoy socialising with Irish being a part of that.

Classes will also be organised focusing on spoken Irish and geared towards giving people sufficient Irish to have the confidence to converse through the medium of Irish.

Our philosophy is to encourage people to use whatever amount of Gaeilge they have and to create opportunities where people will feel at ease to give it a go.

The likes of Des Bishop have illustrated that Irish can be learnt from scratch and can be good craic as well and we want people to buy into that mentality and to give it a go. The language is something very unique and special and is ours alone,' said Mr. Ó hEadhra.

Na Macallaí is also planning a festival in Wexford this September and hope to attract popular bands, singers and comedians performing as Gaeilge.

The group also hopes to organise challenge matches between Gaeltacht teams and G.A.A. clubs from the Model County.

Richie Ó hEadhra can be contacted on (087) 9135271, [email protected] or call in to see him in the FDYS offices on Francis Street in Wexford town.

Default 400,000 Irish passports are sent north in last decade

Over 400,000 people in Northern Ireland have claimed Irish passports in the 10 years since the signing of the Good Friday Agreement.

Nationalist politicians said the figure showed large numbers of people were benefiting from the recognition of the Irish identify enshrined in the Agreement.

The new data from the Irish government showed 402,658 people from Northern Ireland have taken Irish passports or renewed their existing ones since April 1998.

The Good Friday Agreement recognises the right of those born in Northern Ireland to hold British and Irish citizenship.

SDLP Assembly member for Mid Ulster Patsy McGlone who obtained the figures from the Dail said: "There are clearly a large and growing number of people in the North who want to take advantage of their right to an Irish passport.

"It does seem that people believe the Irish passport is popular and safe to travel on.

"Pensioners are also taking advantage of the free Irish passports available to them.

"But people are obviously increasingly comfortable with and confident in taking advantage of this."

Mr McGlone also claimed he was aware of instances where people from a unionist background had claimed Irish passports, because Ireland’s traditional neutrality made it a safer passport to travel on.

The Department of Foreign Affairs in Dublin said: "Some 400,000 passports have been issued, since the signing of the Good Friday agreement on 10 April, 1998, to applicants born in Northern Ireland.

"Such applications have been increasing year on year, with some 60,000 passports issuing to persons born in Northern Ireland in 2007 compared to some 30,000 in 2002.

"The majority of Northern Ireland applications are made using the Northern Ireland Express Post Service (NIPX) which is available in some 70 Post Offices throughout the area."

SDLP South Down Assembly Member PJ Bradley described the figures as staggering and called for a permanent Irish passport office to be opened in Northern Ireland.

"Those of us that campaigned in the past for Irish passports to be equally available across the island and to the diaspora overseas did envisage a steady uptake, but the figures released in a reply to a question put in Dail Eireann are well beyond our greatest expectations," he said.

"The figures are bound to add weight to the SDLP’s request to have an Irish Passport Office located in a convenient location north of the border.

"I am quite certain that the trend will continue as future generations will emulate the example which is being shown by today’s generation."

Default The Irish Blueshirts

By K. Thompson

This explains the history and circumstances that led to the formation of this once great patriotic Catholic organisation led by EoinO’Duffy. The Blueshirt movement sent representatives to the international fascist convention that were held in Montreux and an interesting photograph in the booklet depicts O’Duffy with Vidkund Quisling, leader of the Norwegian Nasjonal Samling and Romanian Iron Guard members.
Support from the Catholic Church was forthcoming and the poet W.B. Yeats wrote a marching song for them.
700 Blueshirts went to Spain to fight there against the communist forces, but twice that number would have gone had there been further transport for them. The Irish leader Michael Collins was venerated as a hero by the Blueshirts and the IRA their deadly enemies. In the sometimes complex world of Irish political parties and rivalries this booklet is a clear guide.

jewsign Kike Sarkozy to meddle in Irish politics

French president Nicolas Sarkozy plans to pile pressure on Ireland over its rejection of the Lisbon Treaty in an upcoming Paris summit.

France assumed the presidency of the EU for six months July 2, and Sarkozy is to travel to Dublin on July 21 to pressure the Taoiseach into holding another referendum over the Lisbon Treaty.

The French strategy appears to be aimed at isolating Ireland, the only country so far to have rejected the treaty aimed at re-organizing the European Union by calling for an EU president and foreign minister and more decisions by majority votes.

Sarkozy would like to find a way round the Irish vote by which the Lisbon Treaty be adopted anyway, but is hindered by a fundamental EU principle that states any changes made to EU basic procedures must be unanimously approved.

Speaking in Paris last week, Sarkozy made it clear Ireland's 'No' vote would not force a reworking of the document, and that the Irish would be expected to hold another referendum or show agreement through a parliamentary vote.

Eighteen of the 27 European Union member states have ratified the Lisbon Treaty, Cyprus being the latest. However Poland, another Euro-skeptic country, has said it will not ratify the treaty unless Ireland approves it in a new referendum.

The Czech Republic has also shown deep skepticism over a possible ratification, with President Vaclav Klaus criticizing France for its efforts to put the treaty back on track and ignore Irish public opinion.

Angry 'Irish are bloody fools' - Sarkozy

It just gets more unbelievable by the day. Now the EU have resorted to insulting us.

'Bloody fools' is what Nicolas Sarkozy is reported to have told his aides according to le Canard Enchaîné weekly, say The Times.

Following the result, Sarkozy fumed about the Irish:

"They are bloody fools. They have been stuffing their faces at Europe's expense for years and now they dump us in the shit."

The Times goes on to say:

"He then ordered his government to play down the 'no', proceed with their plans and find ways to save the treaty. "We have to manage the Irish 'no' with calm, with sang-froid and neither dramatise nor minimise it," he said last weekend.

"The French "hyper-president" is determined to make the Irish vote a second time on the treaty, if possible even before European Parliament elections next June.

"Mr Sarkozy, who was one of the brokers of the "mini-treaty" last June, has ruled out any rewriting of the text, which he hopes will be ratified by all 26 other states. He is asking Brian Cowen, the Prime Minister, to outline the guarantees Ireland would need to approve the treaty."

I'd like anybody who voted Yes in the referendum to justify this kind of behaviour because, to be honest, I'm amazed that my country can be faced with such bullying in this day and age. If Brian Cowen had any balls he'd tell these guys where to stick their Treaty.

The Times adds that the EU are using the British ratification of the Treaty, which was made official on Thursday morning, as justification for pushing ahead with the Lisbon Treaty. Here's what Barroso the clown, European Commission president had to say:

"I would like to thank the Government and Parliament for the constant support for the new Treaty during the negotiation and ratification process.

"The Treaty of Lisbon has now been approved by nineteen member states. I believe it is important that all member states express their position on the Treaty of Lisbon and I call on all of those that have not ratified the Treaty to continue the ratification process."

And here's our potty friend Hans-Gert Pottering, president of the European Parliament, adding his two cents:

"This shows that the Lisbon Treaty is very much alive."

This was echoed by Janez Jansa, the Slovenian Prime Minister who is chairing the summit, who said that British ratification...

"proves that it is still a living document."

So not only do the EU ignore our democratic wishes, they proceed to view us as 'fools' who 'stuff our faces' and they feel that they can push ahead with their plans by backing us into a corner.

Any attempt to foist a repeat referendum upon us must surely now be opposed by Irish people as a matter of principle. They are an utterly monstrous bunch.

Default 32CSM Statement

The revelations that the people of Derry City are to be petitioned in order to put pressure on Anti Agreement Republican Separatists to disband is disingenuous in the extreme and smacks not only of political opportunism but also no small measure of desperation.

It is clear that those behind this political stunt are using the understandable anger in the community at the murder of Emmet Sheils to further their own political objectives, namely an end to opposition to support for the RUC/PSNI and the British Administration in Stormont.

The 32 County Sovereignty Movement will not be deflected from our political work by such ill conceived political posturing nor will any other Anti Agreement Republican groupings.

Those who have sought to ferment community tensions by deliberately and falsely attributing blame for the murder of Emmet Sheils will be exposed for what they are as will their cynical use of his death for their own narrow agenda. Republicans will not be intimidated from upholding the Republican position and the 32 County Sovereignty Movement are resolute in our intention to continue our work in Derry City and across the nation.

The 32 County Sovereignty Movement are attracting disillusioned and disenfranchised Republicans right across Ireland and further a field as are other Republican organisations and the cynical manipulation of this tragic event illustrates how low Pro State Nationalists will go to undermine this growth, they will fail.

We note also the presence of the so called Deputy First Minister in Iraq. Just recently the same Minister greeted the US President to the Six Counties without a whimper of protest from him against the occupation and wholesale slaughter in that country. This reluctance to petition for protest against these blatant injustices is at least consistent with their equal reluctance to petition for protest against other high profile murders here because they do not afford him the same opportunity for cheap political kudos

The Irish Resistance Movement will not be forced to disband and anyone endeavouring to do so is not only naïve but is also acting in a dangerous manner. Attempts to foster a civil war mentality will also fail as all previous attempts have done.

The 32 County Sovereignty Movement have this pledge to make to Republicans, While the British Occupation remains so too will Irish Resistance to that Occupation.
