Blair = Jew Lackey
I Am Proud to Be a Friend of the Jewish People
(IsraelNN.com) The Conference of European Rabbis (CER), a continent-wide organization of Orthodox rabbis, is holding its 50th anniversary meeting in London, England this week. London is the city in which the conference was founded. The CER organization-wide meeting, which is held every two years, also served to mark the return of Jews to the British Isles 350 years ago. The Prime minister of the United Kingdom, Tony Blair, spoke with the rabbinical delegates in his 10 Downing Street office Monday evening, confessing pride in his friendship for the Jewish people and for the State of Israel. Former Chief Rabbi of the State of Israel, Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau was in attendance at the conference and addressed Prime Minister Blair, briefly reviewing the history of Europe's Jews, culminating in the foundation of Israel. "We know that despite all the difficulties standing in your path, you continue to maintain true friendship with the Jews of England and in relation to Israel, and we know how to appreciate such friendly relations, for we have not been blessed with many like it." The European chief rabbis thanked Blair for his support in matters of concern to the Jewish community, including in the fight against anti-Semitism, against the attempt to outlaw kosher slaughter in the UK, and in favor of expanded Jewish education. Blair said in response that he very much admires Jewish education and the moral life espoused by Judaism. He further said that Jewish life has within it the potential to contribute to the moral and family values of England and all of Europe. Here |

...but not to the British armed forces apparently... Former Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin was involved in the torture murder of two British Sergeants, Clifford Martin and Mervin Paice in 1947. The Irgun gang kidnapped these two Britons on July 12, 1947 and the British police were informed on the 31st of that same month that the bodies could be found in a grove in Nathanya. Upon finding the victims it was discovered that they had been hanged by piano wire. This method of execution resulted in a tortuous and bloody form of strangulation. A notice on the bodies stated that "This is the sentence of Irgun’s High Tribunal." As a further affront to decency, the bodies were boobytrapped to blow up when tampered with and a Red Cross worker was seriously injured in the ensuing explosion. Shortly after this gruesome incident, notices were posted throughout town stating that the murdered Britons had been hanged in punishment for being a part of "the criminal Nazi-British Army of Occupation." The London Daily Express was the only newspaper to show a photograph of the brutal murder in its August 1, 1947 edition. Jews in Britain clamored loudly in protest and even went so far as to agitate for a boycott against the Express. The original photograph which graphically documented this act of terror was owned by the Associated Press. After years of relentless pressure from the Zionist power, the AP finally destroyed these original photos in 1960.
