Not read it, but I've said this for years. It's not just turkeys. Chickens are routinely given antibiotics as well - many large scale dairies dose the whole herd when one cow shows symptoms - this antibiotic and any other drug (including the hormone given to them to keep them producing milk all year round after the baby veal has been taken) passes into the milk and thus any product made from the milk.
Given the ongoing intake through our food and given the habit of doctors in recent years to prescribe antibiotics for every single sniff and cough, it's absolutely no wonder that we're becoming antibiotic resistant.
